It's been a while since I've been to Guntersville but this place was my favorite. Top O' The River.

I like 50 Taters in Scottsboro.
I've been to Top if the River twice. Both times I thought it was just OK. You get a ton of food though which is good for teenagers. Wintzell’s Oyster House is great seafood (not just oysters). Goose Pond Marina has a flat top grill that makes good burgers and it is a good place for an on-the-lake lunch.

Big Mikes Steak House at City Harbor Guntersville. Right on the water. Great food but be there by 4:00 PM or 2 to three hour wait on Friday and Saturday nights.

Thanks for the suggestions! Ive been to Top of the River a few times. Its for sure a possibility. Had no clue there was a Big Mikes up there though! If we can get in early enough will for sure take them for a steak. Been to one in OBA several times.

Craw mammas is excellent for gulf seafood. Winztells is trash. Don't bother. Top of the river is ok for southern fried catfish and frozen popcorn shrimp. Go into Huntsville and eat Mexican at Rosie's. Guntersville now has city harbor on the water with several restaurants (and open bathrooms during the day). Brick house in Guntersville is good too. Bakers on Main is a great sandwich shop. Moe's bbq in Guntersville is good, but the Moe's in downtown Huntsville is awesome.
