Guys switching out my 7 Gen 3 up front to a 9 live Imaging. Will be putting 3 & 1 transducer on my Ultrex. I have a 9 Gen 3 in console will i have any issues will my GEN 3 connecting with new live imaging?

Assuming the Gen 3 is updated to its latest software, no issues.
My Gen 3 was updated to the latest but had to go back to original softwear because it was having issues. Was not able to handle the new updates.
Then it can not be in ethernet with HDS Carbon/ Live/ Pro or Elite FS, it can only network with these using NMEA2000. (And that does not share sonar or mapping.)
Thanks for information, I guess I will run them as single units till I upgrade the one at console.
Once you get your new units and network established, update the Gen 3 again. What you were seeing may not be there anymore. There were many of us who ran 18.2 software on Gen 3 units with no issues whatsoever.

Like NoCal I have no issues with my Gen 3 on latest software, but I have done the things I mention in that article. :)
