Best place to buy hardware to mount motor to jack plate?

Needing some grade 8 hardware (or whatever is used to mount motor to transom/jack plate. 5/8" bolts, washers, and lock nuts obviously. And which sealer is the best to to seal around the bolts? I'm rusty on this and haven't had to do this in probably 10 years but do have a friend that has all the right tools to get this done with as little drama as possible. Thanks in advance.

I use grade 9 eco guard available from fastenal or online, as good as stainless for corrosion and far better on strength

Bob's Machine Shop sells bolt kits. Can't beat them for the quality, price, and simplicity! https://bobsmachine.com/product-cate...ers-bolt-kits/

You want something rated for below the waterline use to use as a sealant, not simply marine grade silicone. 3M 4200 is a go-to.

When Kevin mounted mine this is what he used and upgraded to the 9/16 bolts.

I was too lazy to get the serial number last night when I posted this thread and this is something that isn't Mercury specific. Also, more people that might have the same question eventually would stumble on it here in the General bass boat topic forum and put the info in their memory bank while the thread is active. Hopefully you understand my reasoning. Don has helped me many times over the years for Mercury specific questions over in the Mercury forums.
