Solix 12 gen1 and Solix 12 gen2 network w/360

Curious which is better scenario. Current is Solix 12 Gen1 at console networked to Solix 12 Gen2 at bow running mega 360. Have noticed that the Gen1 at console will act quirky at times with loading maps or with heading up where boat offset will position boat icon below the bottom of the screen and trying to single click the zoom in/out will make huge zoom adjustments vs gradual zoom in/out.

Gen2 12 at bow is just for the mega 360. Curious if swapping these unit location will make any noticeable difference?

Would Gen 1 on the mega360 degrade the image or have similar quality and would the Gen2 at console help with mapping and functions with better processor? Boat has been required and all on 8/10ga direct wiring to lithium battery. Thx!

Yes it will make a noticeable difference, you won't have MEGA 360. A first generation SOLIX will not run the MEGA 360.

Make sure to clear your tracks often on all Solix units. According to Humminbird tech it can cause a lot of issues if not cleared regularly and allowed to get full.
