Keith Poche’s 23’ Elite Series boat

Just watched this on YouTube and thought it was quite interesting. Going to be a much different boat than all the other boats, that’s for sure.

That will be interesting if he makes a final day cut or if they have a cameraman along (thinking Sabine). Very cool boat though. He definitely thought about it

I read the title as 23 footer.....was all excited to see what it was! I like that Keith does things his way and goes against the grain. It's really a cool boat and totally utilitarian. Love the built in winch. I would not want that boat on the great lakes though. Thanks for sharing the video!

When is the last time you have seen Poche out in open water fishing deep? He sticks to the way he likes to fish and it's been pretty successful for him. He has fished the Elites before and probably has a good idea on what he can and can't do.

The point of him choosing that boat is that he feels it gives him the chance to do well. A marshal's or camera guy's comfort probably is not his first concern and rightf so. They ain't the ones paying the entry fees and associated costs to be out there.

How did you get that this was his "Elite Series" boat? His said that it was his "off the grid boat".

I think I must have missed something. He says towards the end of the video that this year he went to the 115hp on this boat instead of the 90hp because he is fishing the Elites.

Because the title of the video says “2023 Bassmaster Elite Series Boat”.

Plus, in the description for the video it says that this is the boat that he’ll be running for the entire Bassmaster Elite Series.

My bad. I missed the part where he said that he was using it on the Elite Series. Sorry.

My first thought was he can finally get as shallow as he wants.

Seems it would be terribly unbalanced with a full livewell and one person in the boat.

That extra weight in the back makes up for the lack of fiberglass
