Ive been meaning to ask this forever but my dealer tells me that the phoenix gauge and the mercury gauge can not both read your gas level?

Unless there is an updated harness he is correct. You must cut the wires to your analog fuel gauge in order to install the Mercury harness. If you want to keep "Both" there is a way. You have the Mercury harness installed then replace your analog gauge with a Systemlink Fuel gauge. Now you will have the digital signal to both.

Merc monitor is way more accurate, assuming you calibrate it properly on the 1st fill up.
