Has there not been anyone that has tried this setup? Especially after switching to full lithium setup.

I have a 12” bobs with 5 degree wedges which sets my motor back further than 12” but not quite 14” I don’t think but does add some good length. I also have 5 100ah size lithiums in the back and power poles. Boat runs good but it’s not extremely fast but I do get full trim out of it and can over trim. Typical tournament load I get 72ish mph. Empty I can see 75-76 mph.

Thanks for the reply. I'm gonna try it regardless but was just wondering. It just makes sense that it would be faster or at least get back whatever speed was lost. I took mine of it's maiden voyage last week. Never ran it with regular batteries. I put my lithiums in the day I bought it. It ran 77.5 in a very short 1/4 mile stretch and was climbing. I have to learn where the jackplate and trim needs to be.
That’s good. Mine has just been slow since I got it. I had a worked 25 fury I threw a blade on in 2021 that I got 76.5 ish out of but all my stock 24 and 25 fury’s I’ve only got to about 75 on a good day. I was thinking about maybe going 14” from the factory but my garage space I think I have 1.5” of clearance right now so another 2” on the plate I might have not been able to close the door.
