    Laser bass boat project

I recently got this 1985 Laser Bass boat i believe to be an LTV hull with a 1988 Merc 220 EFI. I am going to upgrade all the electronics and wondering if there is a spot to mount the rear transducer? I would love to see if anyone has a similar boat as Im trying to learn as much as I can about them. Thanks and glad I found this site!

My manual CMC ML-65 T6061 jack plate has 3/4-inch x 1.8-inch open slot on each side (after height adjustment), so I used two T6061 3/4-OD 1/4-ID bushings in the slot and ran BFE transducer bracket's two 1/4-inch bolts thru the bushings, with a T6061 square on back side of slot. Bushings come in different lengths; my jack plate is 1/2-inch thick, so bought 7/16-inch long bushings.

Is your jack plate manual (?), does it have open slot on lower side (?), how fast is your boat (?). They also sell 1/2-OD 1/4-ID T6061 bushings on eBay. Bought T6061 precut small pieces online.
