    Zero Common Sense

Dropped the boat off at my dealer for servicing and warranty work. Caymas and the dealer are 44 miles apart. It’s been a week and the dealer still has yet to receive the part (bow panel) from Caymas. Apparently Caymas refuses to ship items being that close to the dealer and relies on infrequent deliveries to provide parts to said dealer. That doesn’t even come close to passing the common sense test….stupid sense test…absolutely. An extremely poor way to conduct business.

Trying to wrap my head around their logic.
I would probably just go pick it up myself, to keep my customer happy, if I were the dealer. But that’s just me.

It could very well be supply and demand, i talked with a guy at the main office the other day, you wouldn't believe how much inventory they are waiting on to build boats.

I would think 2 trips a week to the factory by dealer to get parts would make a lot of sense.
