    Suggested blank for Carolina Rig

Considering a Liberty MB794. Any other suggestions for a good rig blank in the $100 range? What do you guys usually look for in a rig blank? TIA

I really like the NFC Xray MB 7108-1 or MB 7109-1 depending on what size weight you want to use. I use the MB 7108-1 for up to 3/4oz and will go with MB 7108-1 for larger weights. The MB 7108-1 is rated up to 1.5oz but I personally feel that would overpower the blank. They are on sale for $100 with code XRAY20, but shipping will put you over.

Don't think you can go wrong with either the 7108/7109 or the Liberty. The NFC is going to be lighter weight, longer and faster...the Liberty is listed as fast but really more moderate. I have both 7108 and FS764 and fish them regularly. IMO the FS764 is a better C-rig blank but the NFC is good too. For me it would kind of depend on what else you might want to use it for. Other things I really like them for...

    7108 - Football head, 10" worms
FS764 - Flippin', light punchin, 6" Magdrafts (and other swimbaits around that size)

    What willwor4fish said
and, I will add 1 more blank

    NFC Flip 766-1 (IM)

It's very close to the FS764 and is lighter build. I use the Flip 766 for c-rig, football jig, pitching, punching, bigger swimbaits, etc.
