Ok, that makes more sense. I would do a hard reset on the 12 with nothing else on. Then turn everything else on. You will get your waypoints back but you'll have to set up your screens again. Also do the waypoint test and check that AT works on the Console Live when it is connected to the Carbon 9, because now it is sounding like a communication issue with the Carbon 12. Good luck and definitely report back. I'm very intrigued in this issue.

Ok the active target does work on the 12 live while connected to the carbon 9. It doesn’t send or receive waypoints on any of the units
Your only remaining option is to try a hard reset on the Carbon 12 and see what happens. You could switch the two 12s and use AT on the Live at the bow. That’s not a very good solution though.

Already tried the soft/hard resets on the carbon 12. Forgot to add that
I don’t have much more to offer. It doesn’t make a lot of sense. Guess your next step is to call Lowrance and deal with that fun time. Sorry
