What outboard do you have?
If you have integrity, nothing else matters. If you don't have integrity,
nothing else matters.
the Stealth 1 is a DC charger that is powered by 12v from your cranking battery and charging system, either outboard or a 12v charger
when your cranking battery is fully charged it will switch to 24v or 36v and charge trolling batteries

Complete believer in the Stealth 1. I've had the same AC / DC charger for lead acid since 2007, never had an issue!!! Made the change to lithuim and ordered a new Stealth 1 for lithium. Plus it is fully potted, not sure about the other chargers
We offer a similar unit our run and gun charger line up from PiwerHouse We would be happy to help you with either that or a powerpole charge system . To really answer your question no they are not the same. The difference with a powerpole charge is it is the only charger on the market with bi-directional power management. Meaning it can transfer power back and forth across the platform of batteries. Should you need it in cranking it will take it from trolling and vice versa. The DC chargers such as the stealth as well as many lithium companies including Powerhouse only allow you to add power from the alternator. Zero bi directional this is where the charge is unique. A stealth, run and gun or charge on the run system should not be confused with the bi directional power management that the charge gives you.
