Buy a used LVS 32 or save and wait for LVS34

I understand and have seen the 34 in action and realize it's better than the 32. But now I keep hearing that the updated 32 is really good and I'm also hearing about glitches in the 34 (like targets shrinking ETC.) I have no idea if those glitches are real or not. In fact the guys I know personally who have the 34 say it's amazing. It's going to be at least 6 months for me to save for the LVS34 but right now I can buy the 32 and the black box used for about $700. I already have a Garmin 106sv I bought on Black Friday for $899 ready to go. Should I keep saving and wait the 6 months for the 34 or should I buy the used 32 and start utilizing the Live scope.
BTW, my application will be in an extremely grassy lake (Guntersville) so trying to target fish in 3-8 fow in grass and targeting fish in deep water on creek channels and ledges in i'd say no deeper than 30'.

    Thanks for the advise

Personally if i was buying used i'd buy a gls-10, lvs-32 & put more money towards a bigger head unit. I do fine with the 93 sv but a bigger head unit would be nice too.

I say go for the 32 if that’s all you can afford right now. A livescope is better than no livescope.

The target separation and range are the biggest improvements with the lvs34. If you can get a good deal on a 32. It's better than not having FFS.

Agreed. And if you haven't owned a 32, I doubt you would really notice / appreciate the improvements on the 34.

I’m moving up to the Live Scope from the old Panoptix setup. Even with that I was able to learn it and use it to my advantage. The Live Scope will be strides above that technology. So get what you can and learn it to exploit the advantages to land more fish

If you can get the 32 and box used for $700, get that now. Prob still worth at least $500 in 6 months.

I have two LVS32’s, one with the double cord and one with the single cord (ice fishing). The software upgrade for the LVS34 really helped with the LVS32. My problem with the Livescope is not finding fish … it’s getting them to bite! I fish as deep as 50’ and the LVS32 works great. I have one of the LVS12’s … now that was a waste of money!

Not to hijack the thread but what software update are you all seeing improvements with the the LV32? I dont recall which version Im currently running but it could be around 18 and dont have any issues but could update if its worth it?
