Anyone familiar with the Temple, TX area? Is it a good place to raise a family? How are the schools, etc? Have a possibility of relocating there.

It is okay. Has rough areas like any city and being next to Ft. Hood, everything is older as far as city structure and roads. But as any city, it has nice areas and is close to Stillhouse and Belton. I would for sure drive around it before moving on a whim.

I have lived in Temple, Texas and neighboring Belton, Texas. I very much prefer Belton, Texas. They are both great places to live. Let me know if you have any questions. I currently live in Belton, Texas.
My daughter used to teach at Belton and I believe it is a better school system than Temple. Killeen is close and I think schools are ok. That whole area, particularly Killeen, is dominated by military personnel.
temple and belton arent bad, killeen is a shi* hole though
