Any shimano gurus?

I have a 16 model stradic c14 c2000hgs. It has the shallow spool. Does anyone know if I can find a spool that would hold full line capacity? I was told that possibly a 1000 series spool will fit the 2000 series reel but I'm not sure. I'm also open to another models spool if it will for sure work. Thanks

Maybe try Hedgehog Studio. When you go to their spools, select one and there is a tab to contact them. They may be able to help. They are in Japan, but I've ordered from them a few times without issues.

You could check to see if the Shimano Vanford 2000 spool that is deeper would fit on the Ci4 2000.

Vanford and stradic Ci4+ spools are not interchangeable.
The Vanford spool is taller. A Vanford 2000 and 1000 size spools are interchangeable though.
I'm pretty sure the Stradic ci4+ 1000 and 2000 spools are interchangeable, but not 100% certain.

Just an example of how sometimes, shimano might change things up:
The 18 Stella FJ 1000 and 2000 spools can interchange. But the FK 1000 and 2000 dont interchange. The rotor on the Stella FK 2000 is too big for the 1000 spool. For some reason shimano shrunk the inner diameter of the 1000 size stella spool. This is odd because both the Stella FJ 1000 and 2000 spools will fit on the Stella FK 2000 rotor.
