    Mats for grills?

Recommendations for mats to place under grills. I have a wooden deck and want to set a charcoal and gas grill on it. Looking for a mat that will hold up over time and keep drippings off the wood floor of the deck. What's your choice?
    thanks

I used an oil drip pan from Auto Zone. Gave it a shot of paint and it looked good. I’m a cheapskate though. One under the smoker and one under the Weber. The egg didn’t drip.

Have you thought of a oversized doormat that could be hosed off an washed to help prevent wildlife coming around

What i did on my deck was put one-foot square tile down and secured it with tile edging.
Not glued down just sitting there, not worried about it breaking, no one will be walking on it. grill just sits on it.

I use these mats. They wash up nicely and are super heavy duty. Have them at the house and the lake.

The RecTeq mats are really nice, but somewhat pricey. Saw these at Tractor Supply this past week just by chance. Not bad quality for the price.

If you‘re only concerned with the area directly under the grill you might consider 24 or 26 gauge galvanized sheet metal.

Check out horse stall mats. They can easily be purchased as Tractor Supply. One word of advice is to have help carrying it.

I use the 4’x6’ stall mat and love it.
