This is a link to a house in Grant-Valkaria that we just finished staying at for 5 nights. The house was very accommodating and only 14 miles to the bait shops which you pass the ramp access road to go to the bait shop. Very nice place on a private lake that we had 12 guys ranging from 24-75 staying there. 4 kings, 1 queen, 3 bunk beds. We were able to park 4 full size crew cab trucks and 4 20/21-foot bass boats on the driveway and charge them every night.

I know people drop in here asking for recommendations from time to time and this was a good one especially if you have a group.

Fishing was decent being the cold front moved in, but we did catch quite a few fish.

Yes, the guys actually went out behind the house and caught a couple one afternoon for about 45 minutes waiting on dinner to get ready. No real size to them but there are fish out there. As far as Headwaters goes, we stayed at the Stick just because of the boats over there. We caught a bunch with 6.1 being big fish one day, 6.12 being big the next day, day three was 4.39 with the cold front, day four was 7.2 big fish all on shiners.

Well, mark this one off the list. Loose lips sink ships. Why in the hell would you want to contribute to tying up spots for guys that live here? Its hard enough to get reservations down here, now ya just added to it. So much for last minute trips with post like this...shhhhh!!!!!

Jacksonville isn't exactly Fellsmere in fact it is 200 miles away. I don't suspect you would want to pay $600 a night for a house to rent either. We have stayed at the Holiday Inn and parking was a nightmare along with charging boats because the outlets did not work so I'm giving some options for groups of guys who go to long distance places to fish. Never mind the money we spent at stick marsh bait and at Fellsmere outdoors and to the local businesses there in gas and food.

That is why I posted it to begin with because we have been looking for a big place so we could park boats without putting them in the yard which is not allowed in most communities and have a place to stay all together which we did, and it was very nice along with the owner's communication. 4 boats and trucks in one driveway is not easily found anywhere.
