When I installed my Ultrex there was a plate that came off the side of the mount to gain access to the extra mounting holes. I did not like the angle it sat at so I filled two holes and drilled two more. An extra set of hands is great when mounting these new heavy trolling motors!
John, can you explain how you filled the unused holes? Thanks.
I did not do anything fancy. The holes are under the Ultrex mount. I put some tape under the holes and shot some 4200 down in them. It’s an aluminum boat so no worries about water damage down the road.Originally Posted by sheffism
