Have you been able to try a TXP 4 blade on your set up?

With as much $$ as you've invested in trying out props, you could almost have set up machinery to build them

The ProMax is a fast prop, but at 14.5" it works great on really light hulls. My Checkmate / 300R combo is around 3000 lb with 2 people, fuel, gear and ready to run. If I have much more than a very light load, the slippage goes up. Running light the ProMax works great. 14.75 - 15" diameter would likely work great on heavier boats and get the slippage down and blow it out of the hole even better, but mine comes on the plane quick. I think Mercury will just tell people like me to run a Bravo FS (that is my spare prop but not as fast as the ProMax on my boat if I am running light).

Well after all the props I have run I have not ran a TPX 4 blade....maybe the next one I purchase and yes after all the props I have run I could have funded the new Pro Max...LMAO But in all of my prop trials the Pro Max has been the fastest in mid range and top end. Hole shot SUCKS!!!! Mercury has a great prop that needs an updated Pro Max from a two stroke to the new four stroke SM lower. It would be a game changer in my opinion. Always looking for that edge for myself and others. If Mark can make a full sized hub Pro Max I would bu it.......

Not nearly as fast as a Ronnie Gilbert reworked Fury, and the hole shot with the ProMax was not acceptable at all
    Thank You Leon Pugh

Please don’t take it as an insult. Rick Bobby had few great lines in Talledega Nights that just reminded me of your need for speed. “If you ain’t first you’re last” and “I wanna go fast”

A prop that would stay together and hold its shape would be a good start!

I have always said “If you are not the lead horse the view never changes”. I have enjoyed chasing the rabbit with my Eyra.

Elwood, did ya see the new prop from Merc Racing? It might be just what you were asking for.

I was just looking at it. Sounds interesting. Looks more like a Trophy with a 15' diameter. You know that I will try it though...lol Wonder when the will hit the shelfs.

I thought the blades looked more like a Pro Max than Trophy?
