Is anyone here running anything other than a Fury 23x14 3 blade on a VX20 or VX21? If so, what and what are your results? Thanks!

rangerranger, what have your results been with your 23 Fury 3? I have a VX21 and not wuite 10 hours on my mercury 250. I turn about 5850 rpm at 66-67 mph with 2 people, a full tank and too much tackle. Just me and same load is 67-68 at 5900-5950 rpm. I have also been wondering about trying a different prop but not sure where to start.

Fury 4 runs 5890 at 67 I’ve ran a 23 fury 3 blade it run fine I like the four blade it handles better over all.
I have VX21 with merc 300. I had my 3 blade balanced and blue printed by Mark and saw some improvement. My Rpm is over 6000 and I'm seeing 70mph more often. These engines like a lot of trim and raised jackplate. I'm still trying to find the right set up myself but I know I'm getting closer
Someone try a revolution 4 blade prop it looks fast.
I tested a Razor 4XL 24p 4 blade prop from Mark. Ok, not real useful as the pitch was wrong (I knew that going in - was my spare prop I had for my Skeeter ZXR21) but still a data point. I have a VX20 with Merc 250. Stock Fury 23p prop with just a little seat time (new boat) gets me upper 60s. I think it'll get close to 70, but I'm not comfortable enough yet. It hits 6000rpm too. Good holeshot. A fair bit of brief bowrise.
With the Razor 4XL 24p 4 blade on a cool day with light chop got me only upper 50s MPH, right under 60mph, max RPM was 5000. Bow rise on holeshot was a little less, but took longer with the steeper pitch (too steep). I was surprised the trim with this prop didn't move the bow up/down as much as it did with my Skeeter. The 4 blade on that boat really helped it and stayed hooked up a lot better in the turns vs. the Skeeter with 3 blade. But the Vexus hasn't had any issues with blowout in the turns with the 3 Fury or 4 Razor. I didn't adjust the jackplate (still a manual one on the boat at this time). I did sense more chine walk with the 24p Razor 4 blade. Not sure if that's a pitch thing here or 3 vs. 4 blade thing.
I'd like to try a 4 blade Razor 4XL in the proper pitch (22p or even 21p) to see the direct difference. Or just do a Fury 4 blade to see direct comparison with the stock 3 blade Fury. OR, just stick with the Fury 3 for now. But I do want a spare prop for the boat regardless.
Get a fury 4 blade 23 pitch I have a croxton 4xl in a 22 pitch fury 4 blade is better on my vx21 I have a trophy plus at marks now getting worked I think 68 is all my vx21 going to run
