    Interesting images

    I was fishing (not catching) at Lake Anna last Friday and these popped up on my screen. I assume this was a large school of bait fish and it stayed on the screen
    for about 2 minutes but I didn't see any stripers or bass around the school. The other image shows a large fish but I'm not sure what the smaller dots are. Could

    School of shad. 2 winters ago there were so many shad just below the 208 bridge my graph was almost completely a solid color for over 200 yards. I couldn’t vertical jig because I hooked a shad every time. That is a nice strong arch in the other picture. The arch size can be impacted by how long the fish stays in the cone, but a striper would be a good guess. It’s hard to see in the picture Denny, but I do not see any color changes in those dots. Depending upon your speed it could be bait or small fish as well as clutter on the screen
