    Ordered mine June 9.

A few weeks ago the rep told my dealer production is scheduled for the 19th of this month, and to expect delivery around Valentine’s Day. Fingers crossed!

Hopefully things continue to improve and you don’t have an 8+ month wait.

I hope I don’t sound like I’m complaining. I knew I was in for a wait. If the boat arrives around Valentines I’ll be absolutely thrilled! (Valentines is also my birthday… perfect gift to myself! haha)

The hardest part is that I went ahead and sold my 2016 Cougar while the market was hot. I did very well selling it, but it’s been rough without a boat. Luckily I’ve got a very good friend who lets me borrow his Phoenix whenever I want. Heck, it’s sitting in my shed now.

    It’s well worth the wait.

In Ken Smith's Puma STS review part 2, he talks about how the new STS have little to no "side slop".

Can anyone explain what that is?

I would assume that he is meaning how the boat moves side to side while you are walking around on the decks. Due to its width.

My interpretation (right or wrong) of Kens assessment was how the hull reacted on plane when running through waves at a 45 degree angle. Some rock back and forth (side slop) more than others.

it has significant less side to side slop. I know that’s how ken tried to show it. Boat rides incredible and does not bar you

Especially BassCat. They seem to be higher than almost any of them. I would consider one but their price tag seems ridiculous and then on the used side I don’t see where they bring anymore than the next brand.

They are higher than some , but not as high as others . I have 2 really close friends who both just purchased new boats , they both wanted Cats originally but wound up buying skeeters because they got a better price .

I like the looks of the skeeters and the price of the skeeters, but the lack of quality would scare me. So I went with a Ranger and have had nothing but quality issues. Lol I should’ve went with a cat.

when you compare apples to apples. And not go get a price of a bass cat with 4 graphs but you go get a price of another brand with 2 graphs. Price will be much different.
they are expensive there is no doubt but I know what I’m getting when I get my boat.

No quality issues with these 2 skeeters , Ive climbed in , rode in , and driven both of them and they seem to be well made nice boats to me .
