    4 stroke upgrade. Need help

Guys you can see my setup in signature. I'm getting a new 4 stroke put on next week. I've heard 4 strokes need to be run lower, I'm guessing i need to be around 4" ptp. Also I'm assuming I will need a 23 or 24 fury. Anyone with a similar setup please chime in with suggestions.

My boat is shorter and jackplate smaller but I think you can run your Fury prop at 3 to 3 1/4" below pad.

With a Tempest Plus or Bravo FS you can likely run 2 3/4" below since a Fury needs to run a little deeper than the other two.

I run the same boat.. a Blueprinted 23 Fury 3 blade with added cup seems to be the best prop I’ve tried so far.

Tournament load, right around 70. seems to like the prop to pad around 3” give or take a little depending on water conditions. I have a Bobs Hydraulic JP

Will need a 23 fury or 24 tempest plus. Fury stiffer than tempest, is the reason the size will not match. Fury will also run deeper than tempest. Prop height is the same as 2 stokes, but top rpms is higher with 4 stoke. Top rpms for 4 stoke Pro xs is 6200 vs 6000 for 2 stoke Pro xs.
