    Replace Tach

    The tach/trim combo gauge in my Triton has stopped working. The trim still works fine but nothing on the tach. Mechanic says the gauge is shot. They don't make the gauge anymore but I found one somebody took off a 2003 Triton and purchased it. Should it just plug right in as a direct replacement? He used it on a Mercedes 225 and I will be using it on a 250 with S/N listed below. Thanks for all responses.

    Yes, but you need to verify the DIP switches are all in the same position as the original gauge.
