    Water Strainer

    2004 200L Optimax
    Serial Number OT907502

    Any ideas where’s water strainer located on this Opti ?

    Hose going down from compressor to bottom of block, left side from view, bottom, strainer is black plastic, lower cowl needs to be removed

    Not only is that the correct hose, but that black hex fitting IS the strainer.

    Take rigging clamp flange out, remove access plug on port-rear of cowling.

    Four screws: One inside at front, one outside under front, two inside at rear (one is accessed through the rubber access plug opening).

    If removing STB side lower cowling, you'll need to disconnect the trim switch.

    Ah... just put a gas door on the side of the lower cowling and you'll be able to do it in a snap.

    OR a big rubber plug.
