Poles or raptors on 18 foot boat?

Anyone have poles or raptors on a 18 foot boat? Does it affect boat performance? I have an 18 foot blazer and may put poles or raptors on instead of buying a newer 20 foot boat! Really want a 20 foot boat but can’t see paying what they cost.

Dual 8ft power poles on my 17.5' boat didn't affect the performance at all. I would go with the poles because they have far better customer service than Minn Kota.

Neither will affect performance. you will see possibly a 1 to 1.5 mph speed loss, very slight if any holeshot diff but on a blazer you will be faster then 95 percent of 18 ft class boats anyway. Feel free to let me price out a set of either for you!

I have 8' Raptors on my Tracker 170 which is just over 16ft. Performance drop for sure but switched up the 3 blade to a 4 blade prop and gained everything back.
