I run my Michelin Defenders at 44, as advised on on the sidewall of the tire. The tire manufacturer doesn’t care, or even know about the sticker on the trailer, or inside the door of the truck/car. They know how, and at what pressure their tires work best at. My Michelins are a great tire for my rig - you’ll love them.

I think my ‘05 trailer had a 50 psi sticker right on the rim, if I recall correctly.

On the more recent models, the info tag is inside the frame rail near the front of the trailer on the port side.

I have been told to only run tires designed for trailers ( never street tires ) and run them at max psi. Some folks choose to run non trailer tires. However the sidewalls are designed on trailer tires to be stiffer to help with weight . Street tires my ride better but don’t have the added sideway strength. It is hard however to find a correct size trailer tire to fit on the larger Ranger rims.
