    ZX Horn

My horn in my 2015 Skeeter ZX 250 went out. I can't see it good enough from the access panel at the bottom of the console. I would have to pull the dual graphs and BBT mount off to see it. Does anyone know what horn Skeeter uses so I can get a replacement?

It,s possibly the horn relay, not the horn itself (if that year uses a relay). It would be attached to your fuse panel and is normally a standard automotive one, not expensive.

On my 2016 ZX 250 I removed the windshield to access the horn and replace it. My horn was a Marinco AFI Model L. Got mine from Amazon around $25.00. If your windshield has a number of small holes, that's for the horn sound to come out and your horn will be right behind the holes.

My windshield does infact have the holes in the front. I havent had a chance to take windshield off yet (boats in storage for winter) but I will check it out. Thank you!

Thanks guys! Pulled the windshield and sure en⁶ough the horn was there. Held in with 2 torx screws. Tested the horn and its dead. Battery voltage to the wires when horn button is pressed. Easiest thing I have ever done on a boat. Ordered the horn from Amazon. Thanks again!

Once you get it out you might just give it a few taps with a screwdriver or something, sometimes if not used it will seize up.
A few whacks and it will be back to operational.
