    Ball lead head clearcoat flake.

I am look for a way or process to make a lead ball head more natural. As of now the old gray tarnished head seem best in clear water. I can speed up by dipping in Vinegar overnight. Looking for a clear coat flake to coat gray heads.
    Or something Translucent Coating.

I tried peal paint but they look bright in clear water. Looking for something to match the Kietech Ghost Rainbow trout swim bait.
    Any suggestions?

Pro-Tec makes a few clear coats with different glitters in them...that work?

I use clear nail polish with glitter as a top coat on striper jigs in the 3/4- 2oz sizes. They come out looking pretty good. Never tried it on a plain head but imagine it would add a little sparkle.

I use Pro-tec clear coat with no glitter. Works well and it easy to use.

Lead use can just leave outside and they will dull. Glitter you can just add to clear topcoat.

Have you tried just putting them in some Coke? I read somewhere that this will dull lead quickly.
