    Yeah, if he thinks Carhartt is really so great, then he should still be wearing it if he does not get a clothing sponsor this year. If not, he comes across as yet another pro angler who doesn't think the product they sponsor is any good.

    You could not have said it any better. Sometimes we think if a pro uses / endorses something it must be good.
    But in reality their honesty and loyalty to a product is only because of the money.

    That's the standard line with every new sponsor - "always admired this company - been buying and using their products for years - dreamed of being part of their team - without a doubt the best I have ever used", etc. What goes unspoken is "they dropped me" or "these guys offered me a better deal".

    Good Commentary it’s always nice to have some BBCers that are skilled in interpreting the Cliche Laden Language of Professional Bass Fisherpersons so you’ll know exactly what they mean when they say something.
