Boat Ramp Near Celina

Never fished Dale Hollow, but I'm going to be able to fish it this Friday. Can you tell me the best ramp to go to?

When I was in Celina several years ago, I used Dale Hollow Marina.

I would say Horse Creek marina but I've heard they are not a public ramp anymore since changing owners. I used Pleasant Grove for the first time last week. It's a good ramp, big parking lot. They do charge a fee but they have a credit card machine.

I spent the past 2 days fishing Dale Hollow. I put in at Dale Hollow Marina and the second day I put in at the KY State Park. Both were really good and easy to launch solo. It was a tough couple of days, but I did land a few smallmouth. I had a hard time locating bait. I caught a couple on a jerkbait and crankbait, but the biggest was a 2.5 smallmouth.

Thanks for all the information on where to launch. Overall, loved the lake and I’ll be back.
