    Over The TM Graph Mount

For those this with this setup, did you use screws or thru bolt it?

On my 919, I would need to cut out some glass under the shroud in order to be able to thru bolt it. I would prefer not to go that route because of all the wires, but if the screws don’t hold up, I wouldn’t have much choice. I currently have 1 9 and am planning on adding a 12, so it would be a dual 9 and 12 screwed to the deck.

I mounted mine with four #14 X 2” stainless screws. I haven’t had it installed long enough to tell how well it will hold up, but if it doesn’t I’ll figure out a way to get bolts and nuts on it.

I added the dual over the pedal mount, with a Garmin 10" and Humminbird 10", last March. I used ss screws and have been fine so far, other than having to re-tighten a couple of times.

On my 721, I bolted mine to the floor. Sorta a pain to get to the bolts on the passenger side, but I would recommend using bolts.

So for those that used bolts, did you have to cut more fiberglass to get access. There are 2 round holes in mine, but no way I can reach far enough to get to where the bolts would come thru the deck.

This is how I did it! I got to the bolts by way of the rod lockers. I took a nut put a couple drops of crazy glue then centered the washer on the nut. Then took a metal rod that I had, I’ve used a wooden dowel rod in the past doing this same thing. Then tape a box end wrench to the rod put the nut in the wrench and hold it on the bolt while someone top side turns it.7D063899-6018-4884-BF43-3E974FC6CC37.jpeg

yep I did the same thing. Taped a wrench to a stick and reached up in while a buddy is on the top with a wrench. It will be next to impossible to do it all by yourself.

for the guys that have the over the pedal mount ... why did you guys decide on the over the pedal mount and not one the mounts to the shroud plate. is there a concern i should be aware of? another question? has anyone considered lag bolts with blue loctite on the threads? seems to me with the loctite the bolts would never loosen.

I put a Str8-Up Mount over my pedal, I used 2 - 1/4" Lag Bolts and one thru bolt, 1/4-20 per side. The wrench on the stick worked great! Thanks for the idea guys!!

After switching to the shroud mount, which one do you like better?
