I use "stinger hooks" on all my underspins that attach to split ring used to hold the blade & lay on the curved side of the blade...my mod would be for the underspin to be able to handle a big bass on that stinger hook. Most of the wire used to hold the blades aren't made for the pressure of a fish. Eco Pro Tungston & Hog Farmer brands are pretty good. Just not perfect. Catch more than 90 percent of the fish on that stinger hook. My .015 cents worth. Scott

A custom underspin mold would be awesome the doit one ia not setup correct in my opinion.I feel they got it correct at the head but take all the collar tie and hook holder all off and put a wire keeper or twist lock on there then it would be perfect the head is kinda big elongated but I could deal with that if had the wire or twist lock keeper instead
Just trim off the collar and whip finish a wb400 insert on the shank

I made one out of the Ultra Minnow before Do it came out with theirs. I like it.
