    Livewell aerator updated layout?

    Hello all,

I recently acquired an 82 Ranger 350v & i'm in the process of undoing years of neglect, bad wiring & the likes.

It looks like there is only a livewell "on" switch, it works, but water simply dumps into the livewell & eventually goes out once filled.

*** What can I do to update the aeration system to help the bass if/when i use the livewell in the future?

switch with timer, bubbler device, etc?

I've heard of rejuvenade, but i figured that is more for warm water conditions. Use always?

    Thanks for any advice.

I know alota guys use a second pump that just recirculates the water but I don't have much live well experience.

You can add a variable timer to the system with a 2 way rocker switch.

I would defiantly get a timer to put in fresh water at intervals. If you are going to tournament fish you need to add a recirculate pump. When live well water temps reach 80 deg and above you need to add ice and hydrogen peroxide and recirculate water only. Do not add any warm lake water. Keep live well water temp below 80. I Always use please release me but i am a tournament fisherman. Check out sure life.com.
