    yes still believe cylindrical are the best, unless a battery was heated I wouldnt want to represent a prismatic cell battery... i see what you wee trying to do there lol.. all love Bloodman

    Can you explain why you believe older cylindrical tech is better. A lot more fail points with cylindrical.

    Yes I would be happy to... to start off cylindrical tech is not old tech, cylindrical cells are the most widely used cells in LifePo4 batteries. While you say more cells creates more fail points this is true yes however with prismatic cells it only takes a single cell within the pack to render the battery useless, where as with cylindrical cells there could be multiple cell failure and you would not notice any difference in battery performance. This in turn keeps you out on the water fishing. You would be only down to 99 percent of battery capacity with multiple cells out in a cylindrical cell battery , where 1 cell is out in a prismatic battery your dead in the water ( pun intended ). Prismatic cell batteries are highly known for deformation (Bulging) safety performance is not as high as with a cylindrical cell battery. A bulging battery can compromise safety as well as damage equipment. Lastly a prismatic cell battery is less efficient in thermal management, and has a shorter life cycle then there cylindrical cell counterparts. The only place in my opinion a prismatic cell battery excels is in the ability to heat the cells (a heated battery) you can not effectively heat a cylindrical cell battery; this is why some manufactures who offer batteries the majority of there batteries will be cylindrical in design due to their benefits yet their heated versions will be prismatic.
