    ‘97 20xd

What would y’all think a fair price for a ‘97 20xd with a ‘97 225 promax w/ low hours (around 400) that’s in touched would be. It’s a clean boat, original carpet, seats, motor, and two owner. Really clean, paint near perfect for age, one small nick in the gel coat that I could find. I can’t figure out how to post pics. Any help would be great.

Without seeing a thing. I’m guessing $14-18k range. That’s not to step on toes. If it had a 250 or 300 the price would be up more. Someone may have it listed in low 20’s but it would have to have extras. I know since Covid, prices went through the roof.

He wanted 16, we settled off 14,250. It needs electronics and a trolling motor. Under the cowling is unmolested.

Is that a good year for bullet? I know transom strength was a question in the 90’s

Yes, definitely 97 and up. Although some kind of reinforcement was done in 96 I believe.

Before I was able to run it it dropped a power pack. He called to tell me. When it’s fixed I’ll update. I’ll be sure to compression check it cold and hot.

Yep, check all your numbers and wouldn’t hurt to go over all your coils/wires and check the plug(s) condition.
