    Compression test next. If you have good compression, check REEDS.

    Just to update, took to a retired boat mechanic referred by very good trustworthy friend. He checked compression and 0 on cylinder 3. He’s finishing another job now and will have me bring mine back and pull head to inspect but looks like a rebuild(maybe just cylinder 3 depends on what finds when tears down, he’s got head gasket also if needed.

    just thought I’d update since so much good advice on here already. I spent 2 hours talking in his driveway and feel 100% comfortable with his abilities and the referral person is as good as gold. Will keep updated.
