    Waterflow/Thermo Operation

    Have twin '05 175 Evinrudes.
1 runs significantly cooler than the other @ idle, ~90* vs ~140*.
Trying to determine what is flowing when it shouldn't....
I have the lowers removed and a garden hose connected to the water inlet.

QUESTION: if I apply water to the inlet, is it a true statement that water should not flow out of the bottom of the cylinder heads? I have already applied water to the input and removed the flange at the bottom of the block coming from the lower thermo housing and water was present, coming out of the flange of the pressure relief valve, indicating water coming out of the cylinder heads??? I have the understanding that the water should not come out of the bottom of the heads until the thermos open. Is this correct?

    Nobody ... ? Bueller? Bueller ... ? Bueller ... ?????????

My '98 vintage EFI OEM Service Manuals shows sh#t for nothing in regards to waterflow cooling to the powerhead, only that to the Vapor Separator tank.

Anyone have a cooling flow diagram typical of Evinrude V6s that might help him out???????
