Hour and Temp Gauge For SHO

Have a 200 SHO and want to install an hour meter and temp gauge on my Skeeter. Could anyone point me in the right direction of which unit can do both? Not sure if Yamaha makes a gauge for this or not as I was used to the merc monitor.

You can connect your engine to a fishfinder, which would give you all that data pretty simply

The one Yam911 is showing plugs into the engine wiring harness. Pulls info straight from the ecm. Its what I have on my SHO.

Agree with what 89Tracker said. I've only done this with Lowrance. So if you do happen to have lowrance, and if you already have a NMEA 2000 network going (most of us do these days), you can buy this cable for 100 bucks and get TONS of data (yes, hours and temp included) displayed on your graph using data overlay. I do have hours, temp, fuel flow rate and a bunch of other stuff. Depending on your setup it might be a cheaper option.

Is it only compatible with Lowrance? I have a Garmin 106 at the dash. Not sure if it will work with it or not?

Yes compatible, I just installed one on mine 106 sv actually. I used that lowrance cable, and connected it to a garmin nmea starter kit.

I got the cheaper one with metal ended plug. You can take the plug apart so the wire feeds through the tube better.
