Question on American Tackle Bushido rod blank

I am not a builder but purchased a custom built rod from a fellow BBC'er that he built on a Bushido blank. The blank he used is in the "Mag Bass" category, so I was wondering if this would be considered similar to the G Loomis MBR actions, or if Mag Bass specifies anything particular about a rod blank?

MB in MBR for Loomis is Mag Bass. Mag Bass is just a category of taper. Spin Jig is another, Popping etc. It would be generally similar but there is so much variation from manufacturer to manufacturer given materials, power designations, taper and so on.

There are definite regional differences depending on the waters the rods are tested in. G Loomis came into existence in a big way when there was the movement to lighter and finesse presentations as those rods were already in existence and in use in the western regions clean and deep reservoirs for many years prior.
