    Make Your Own Lure Wraps

I've used these for a couple of years now and although they won't last you a life time and are not completely hook resistant they still help keep hooks out of the boat carpet and from tangling up with other hooks and line from other rod and reel setup's on deck.

    I start with a 9 x 13 Plastic Mesh pouch from Amazon.

    And Velcro Tabs

Cut the Mesh Bag along all sides, and quickly singe the edges with a lighter. After cutting all sides you have two separate plastic meshed sheets.

Take the 2 Tabs of the Velcro and cut the harder hook side of both in half and place them on one side. Make sure you place one slightly inside of the first one.

Flip the plastic sheet over. Place the Velcro Loop side of the Velcro Tabs opposite the Velcro Hook tabs.

Place a weighted object on the sheet for about 48 hours to allow the tape side of the Velcro Tabs to completely adhere to the plastic. Afterwards, use as needed. These will fit almost all size and type of lures.

Might have to do something like this. My Muskie lures grab everything. Maybe save me another couple holes from getting into my car seats.
