I finally found a cheap 0.8 mm airbrush to try....

I want to shoot thicker paints and glitters better. I'll let you know what I think after I use it...

Any of my detail work is done with a stencil.... I don't free hand any details. I like consistency between baits. I almost bought some 1 mm brushes, But they are a different handle style than I'm used to.

I think you will like it. and they are easy to clean, the one I got looks similar,
I bought a 0.5 off eBay, and I actually like it and it sprays pretty well, I also use stencils so it worked out just fine

I used this airbrush a lot this weekend. It's the best I have ever used so far. It feels great in my hand and is smooth. I tried the 0.5mm and the 0.8mm needles.

I like having several of each kind, So I will be ordering a few more.

How has this worked spraying metallic paints??? I have a pretty good one for straight colors but it plugs up anytime I use glitter paint or some pearls,

I would like to publicly thank you for being the Guinea Pig on these things as I usually buy things based on your recommendations. Those cheap sprue cutters you let me know about have worked great!

Just an update... I own a ton of airbrushes and this one is the best I have bought. I'm shooting all metallic paints and fine glitter mediums w/o any trouble clogging.

I'll probably never go back to a .5mm needle. I have no need for them. I did order a few more, Just in case they get hard to find.

Mike, do you know if you can buy additional .8mm needles and nozzle caps for them if you damage one? If so where? I am going to use this for spraying clearcoat. Thanks
