Or just bring 'em up to Jocassee. You can catch monsters on big ol Huddleston's and other large swimbaits. Bass and trout.

McComas has been doing it a while. He's old school. Your swimbaits have a home up here!

Different kind of swimbaits not the uber expensive types used on Ca reservoirs, the soft plastic kind used on okeechobee fished thorough massive slop/grassfileds

I did that with a guide on Okeechobee a couple of years ago. Heavy duty spinning gear, braid, swimbait head with a Reactions Innovations black/blue or junebug big dipper swimbait. HAD A BLAST AND WILL BE GOING BACK.

Keep braid on your TW reels, you'll need it on Santee.

You could go & try Lake Sessions (slang name “Little Santee”) near Greenville. It’s the city reservoir for Greenville.Over the years I have known people who fish it & there are 10+ lb bass there.Over the last few years I have not received any news about the lake, most of the friends I had up there, are gone now.

    Greer/Taylors

1000 acres or so, shallow to 40’
3 bass species, white perch, white crappie, channel cats and carp,
Problem is, it’s 9.9 and sunup to sundown
