    Paint gunnel on PT185

    Hey Guys. First time posting so forgive me anything I am doing wrong. I am overhauling my Tracker Pro Team 185. Part of my project is painting the gunnel. It still has factory paint on it but looks dull and chipped. I sanded it down and only got to bare aluminum in a few little spots. My question is what primer (if any) and paint would you guys suggest. I am going back with black like factory. I don't necessarily need a name brand but what type of paint (oil,latex,etc) and also what sheen (satin,gloss,etc). Thanks in advance

    Haven’t done it but looked into it quite extensively a few years back. Marine epoxy primer and paint seemed to be the most recommended when I looked into it.
