    Lake Thomalex

    Do people over 65 have to pay to fish and launch a boat at Thomalex?

    That was going to be my question. Is it quality fishing?...or even quantity fishing? I've heard that it's a tough lake to fish anymore.

    It is a tough lake to fish. I have always hated that lake but I fished it a lot in 2020 and found some offshore stuff and did really well that year. The past couple years it has not produced for me very well. I have swore of fishing more than once while there. It is 11 miles from house so I go there when I do not have much time, which is about all of the time anymore.

    Thanks. Sounds like me with Shearon Harris. Closest "big lake" to the house, so it's my normal place to go when I don't want to burn up a whole day. I haven't had a whole lot of luck there with anything over the slot lately.
