    Truck toneau cover

I'm looking for opinions on a soft tri fold toneau cover for my truck. I'm starting to fish a few more tournaments, and go on single overnight trips that may be in a lodge or hotel, and Id like for my stuff to be a little more out of sight. I usually carry a yeti cooler, maybe a couple bags, and a small grill and misc things. I was looking at this one.

I tow a 5th wheel a lot, so it would have to be quickly removable. I'm also not looking to spend a ton of money. The roll up style will take up too much bed space. I've got a 6.5' bed, and usually use all of it when I'm pulling my 5th wheel by putting a smoker and toter in the bed. I'm curious of people's opinions of the soft ones. Are the sub$300 ones any good? I understand that if someone wants something bad enough, a knife could get through it, but i figured between the cover and locking the tailgate, it would be better than nothing. Thanks for the help, Clayton.

I dont know anything about the rough country but if i were in the market for a trifold soft tonneau i would probably go with the Extang trifecta. I have had extangs on my my last 5 trucks and they have all been fantastic. They stand behind the product too if there are ever many issues.

I tend to be skeptical of RC products, but they have 2500 good reviews it appears.

I had a TruXedo TruXport roll up on my Titan and really liked it over the tri-fold. And it's in the sub $300 price range.

Thanks guys, exactly what I'm looking for. I'm definitely not partial to RC, just one that came up. Another one that i saw was Gator? I think. Definitely open to opinions

I've had 3 different brands of tri-fold covers and now a roll-up one because it was handed down to me when my father-in-law got a fiberglass topper. The first tri-fold I bought new, which was a Lund and really nice. The rest have been used ones that I bought for different trucks. They all seemed fairly similar in quality really. But the tri-fold style is going to be the easiest for what you are looking for it to do and remove.

Enjoyed the XTang before moving to a topper. I always locked my cooler on a cable to help ensure it was there when needed. I gave my son the Xtang soft cover and he’s still using it. They hold up well.

I ended up buying one from rough country. I'm please with how it looks and feels. I couldn't beat the price at $239, and they had it to my house in Georgia next day. Time will tell, but for as little as I'm going to use this, I think it will be fine. Thanks for an the help guys!

Truxedo on my current 2 trucks and on my last 3 or 4. Their warranty is good if there is a issue and they can be transferred to your next truck. We have 20 or more here at the shop and had to have one replaced for a bad seam. They have been good to us. I cant afford to loose bed space and these have been the best option. CJ

I have an Xtang on my 2016 Tundra and absolutely love it. They hold up well and look great. My son also added on to his 2014 Tundra and loves it as well. I'd highly recommend.
