The Wintron Electronics link above now shows the HDS Pro 12 with no transducer has an expected date of 1/27.
Tackle Warehouse shows 2/23 for the same unit.
Another retailer told me they're being told April, unless more delays are encountered.
Buying two units, I'm not sure i see the reason to buy the HDS Pro 12.
I can get two Live 12's for $1850 each. That's $3700 for the pair. (I already have a 3-in-1)
If can add the S3100 module and the AI HD transducer later. That will be somewhere around $1450. That puts me at a total of $5,150.
Two HDS Pro 12's (one with transducer, one without) will run $6,800. Admittedly they haven't actually been released yet, but I'm struggling to see another $1,650 worth of value in the HDS Pro - especially since I don't run Live Target and don't care about the new split screen features.
Part of me is being impatient. The other part of me wants to rig my boat as soon as it arrives (mid-February). I don't want to have a new boat and no graphs at the console for 2-3 months.
