Gas Strut size on a 2000 21 XL

i need new struts for my lids and not anywhere close to my boat. do any of you know the size needed for the 2000 year 21XL?

I do not know what size you need for a 21XL but I took mine off of my 19xl and went to Oriley's and they hooked me up.

I just took them off and measured them. I don't remember but I will look and see if I can find out

the numbers on them can be used to find replacements I just got some for a basscat and used a search engine on numbers and found them fast

Another thing to consider is the poundage lift capacity. If using on a boat rod or storage locker there is no need to buy one that will lift 200 pounds. I done a quick google search and found a 18" gas strut that could lift 179 pounds and one that would lift 25 pounds. Both were 18" but the price was $12 verses $28 due to lift capacity. Why pay $28 when the $12 one has the rating to support what your wanting to lift, hence why I say you also need to pay attention to lift capacity as well as length.
