I only carry two spinning rods. One is a 852s and is used for strictly bottom contact. The other spinning rod (currently Expride B 7'2ML) is used as a multipurpose rod. I very often have a 1/8 underspin or Okishira head tied on. It is also used for Neds, drop shots, hair jigs and anything else finesse. What is the lower end of what the 872s will handle? Will it cast the 1/8 stuff reasonably well? I am considering a 902s as well.
