My engine is tilted up, on the toter, is this the
best position to check the trim fluid?
Trailer is almost level- checked with a level.
Thx

Also, the pump is not operating smoothly and it’s making noise that isn’t normal.
Thx
I use a zip tie to check level. Is it screeching when trimming down from full tilt? If so tighten your tilt tube nut on the right side of the motor.
The pump travel isn’t smooth when at the ramp, just taking the toter on and off.
Out board is on the toter in my drive, trailer level, when I opened the fill cap- fluid gushed out.
I have never added to or drained the trim fluid, since I have had it.
Please read my earlier post. If the motor is on the toter then it is still not high enough. The engine must be in full tilt up.
++ to Championman about tightening the tilt tube nut.
I am waiting till the this Artic freeze is over before I do any more work on it.
